Clarke County High Point Trip Report

Clarke County has two areas located close to each other and can be found on DeLorme map page 49. A topo map is recommended. Roads leading to cohp were difficult to follow due to inadequate signage. Unfortunately, I failed to record turns and distances. Highpoint locale no longer goes by topo name of Nettleboro. Houses are built near the top of both areas which, as shown on the topo map, are across the street from each other. No one was home at either house. The one nearest the road was once the old local schoolhouse. The house across the street was near a water tower and the Scyrene Volunteer Firehouse and the terrain under these structures, although not shown on the topo map as such, appeared as high as the other two areas.
