Covington County Highpoint Trip Report

As an update, the gate to the larger area is now posted. We knocked on a couple of doors and it turns out the owner lives on the east side of CR53, just east of Vera Cruz church and west of the larger contour area. The owner's name is Ms. Cobin (spelling?) and her son lives south on CR53 about a mile, also on the east side. They had no problem with us hiking from their house to the highpoint. We were able to hike fields close to the top then a faint trail southeast to the summit area, accompanied by the son's dog.
