Jackson County High Point Trip Report
Date: October 2000
Author: Bill Jacobs
This is a so-called "twofer" and was reconned by a group of cohpers in October of 2000. The area is
controlled by several hunting clubs who do not want outsiders visiting during hunting season. Other
times are all right. It is best approached from Huntland, Tennessee. We were told the by the rancher
adjacent to the dirt road leading to the highpoint that it was impassable even for 4WD vehicles. He also
preferred his yard not be used as a parking lot but was willing, in the future, to let us use his property on a
one time basis. Contact Ken Oeser or Bill Jacobs for the rancher's name and phone number.
