Lawrence County High Point Trip Report
six areas (1,080 ft)
Date: September 26, 2003
Author: Bill Jacobs
I agree with the findings of Bob Packard and Kevin Williamson regarding the westernmost area. To find the
primitive road mentioned in their report, park on the main road and walk 50 "snake boot" paces. It's hidden
in the right underbrush and is 25 paces short of the metal gate they discussed. The primitive road is
somewhat overgrown. A biodegradable orange streamer placed there by person(s) unknown marks the high area.
The easternmost area would appear to be 0.15 mile down FS203 from the intersection of FS202 and FS203,
and off in the left woods.
