Montgomery County High Point Trip Report
Date: July 30, 1999

Montgomery has two areas at the 610 foot elevation in the extreme southwest corner of the county near
the intersection of Philadelphia Church Road and CR61/Enzor Road. Proceed down CR61 to the
southwest a short way and take dirt road leading to the right up to "Ramer" water tank which is not shown
on the topo map. High point may have been excavated to accommodate tank installation. Climbed up
cliff behind tank and traversed through this area which appeared to be highest area left after excavation.
Proceed back up CR61 and south on Philadelphia Road to second high point about two thirds of a mile on
the left. There is an open field leading to the highpoint and rural homes on either sides of the road. I
backtracked up the road and approached through the thick forest keeping near the open field border until
reaching a ridge line then crossed over to the high point. The forest was loaded with tics.
