four areas on Brindley Mtn (1,320+ ft)

I followed Bill Jacobs's excellent trip report for this one. County route 32 is a right turn off AL 36 after the latter curves around to the north. The hamlet of Cotaco is not signed by the road, though there is a sign on a convenience store near the intersection. Otherwise, Bill's directions were spot on.

No one was at home at either the house or the radio station but the house was obviously occupied: an air conditioner was running and there was a dog tied up in the back yard and another one barking in the garage. I felt a little uneasy wandering around the back 40 without having obtained permission, although Bill's report mentioned his "cordial" reception.

With respect to the high areas, it is my feeling that the largest contour, the field west of the small lake, contains the true HP, although there is no sighting available from this area to the others.
