Carroll County High Point Trip Report

The ~60 mile drive from Benton Co. to this HP took quite a while.
The twisty, hilly terrain was quite a change from OK, and the Eureka Springs
tourist HQ did not exactly speed things along. Eventually I got to SR 43,
climbed up onto a large plateau, and headed down to Newton Co.
From here you head NW a bit on a neat dirt road, with a scenic crossing of Wolf Branch Creek.
Perhaps I found the views more impressive since I had just driven the length of OK?
In any case the HP is pretty nondescript, a 2 area "liner", with the west area higher.
I left a Coke can register by the fence and wandered around a bit playing with the sight level.
