Conway County Highpoint Trip Report

For our second Petit Jean Mountain of the day we went to visit Dave Davies at the 1207-foot Petit Jean Mountain. Mr. Davies was very friendly as reported Hans Haustein previously. Mr. Davies briefed us on history, geography, and commerce of the locale.

He produced the register left by Hans. Unfortunately, water had gotten in and turned the paper to pulp. Mr. Davies brought out a sealable plastic bag that we used to protect a new register that we started.

The view from this high point is outstanding.
