Faulkner County Highpoint Trip Report

I got the number of the owners Hans Haustein mentioned in his report and called to get permission. The lady said her husband sold the property to persons unknown before he passed away. I drove out to the Hump and talked to a man on the other side of the road who said a guy whose name he didn't know bought it and is building a house on the top. The property is posted with a few sparse signs and a lot of purple paint (which means No Trespassing). The neighbor said the man lives in Maumelle (near Little Rock) and does not want anybody up there because there is a lot of building supplies and equipment up there. He sure knew a lot of information for not knowing who this guy was. Anyway, I had to let this one go for the day. Hopefully more information can be gained in the future.
