Hot Spring County Highpoint Trip Report

From Bismarck at the junction of Highway 84 and Highway 7, go north on Highway 7 approximately 3 miles to Tower Rd on right. Road is gated and gravel. Follow gravel road approximately 1.4 miles, 600 feet vertical, to the summit and lookout tower. There are excellent views south to DeGray Lake and north to West Mountain in Hot Springs N.P. The high point, elevation 1,282 feet, appears to be directly underneath the lookout tower, which is missing the lowest flight of steps.
