Sharp County High Point Trip Report

Andy Martin's trip report was a great help. Here is my version.

Drive north from Wirth AR on Pleasant Run Rd (gravel) for 4.1 miles till you reach Tick Ridge Road, turn and drive north. On the west side of the road is a building that reads 'Tick Ridge USA', what a great name. Just past this building and on the west side of the road 0.3 miles from Pleasant Run Rd is the highpoint area for Sharp County.

Most of the family was in the front yard when I drove up in the driveway. I got out and asked for permission, and they told me that some guy was through here about two years ago doing the same thing (Andy). So I headed across the lawn toward an area where they had a volley ball net set up, and walked back and forth until I was satisfied. I then headed over to the landscaping boulder and jumped up on it. After that I headed back to the car and set off for the Randolph County's highpoint.

After pulling out of the driveway I felt something crawling on my leg, it was a tick, their grass was even mowed so I don't know how it got on me. I feel the name Tick Ridge is a well deserved name.
