Yuma County High Point Trip Report
Signal Peak

This was my second time up Signal and just wanted to make a quick clarification
on the route. When looking up Ten Ewe Canyon from Kofa Queen Road, look for the
first wide saddle on the skyline to the right (west) of Ten Ewe Mountain,
a saddle which is to the left (east) of another lower wide saddle further west (right).
You want to head almost directly from your vehicle to this higher
saddle nearer Ten Ewe Mountain. Walk up the wash any way you want, then step up
on the bench straight ahead (always headed toward that high saddle). We found
no trail and no cairns at first, but, if you take the path of least resistance,
you'll pick up a cairn or two, then a faint path, then more cairns and a better path.
Always head for that saddle. Route and cairns will get better higher up.
Look for cairns and path as you head up thru that saddle and on to Signal,
which is not the one with a tower on it.
