San Benito County Highpoint Trip Report

Old trip reports are still good. We hiked up the ridge south of San Carlos Creek and returned via the ridge north of the creek, making an unnoteworthy side trip to San Carlos Peak. The road most conducive to 4wd is in that valley, so I can't comment on the conditions of that portion. Most of the ridge on the south side does not allow dirt bikers, a nice plus (we were showered with mud when they passed us).

Lots of trucks, trailers, and even towed RV trailers up there, so the road conditions must be good enough for that!
