Kiowa County High Point Trip Report

My second trip to this county HP was dedicated to thoroughly covering the ground to be sure that I had visited the northern of the two HP areas. Now that I have done that I doubt that the northern area is the higher. Later in this same trip, I came to a conclusion about the long, linear mound located east of the southern HP area. There used to be a fence there, and in dust-bowl conditions tumbleweeds and dirt piled up against the fence, thus creating the mound. It is a semi-manmade feature.
