Rio Blanco County Highpoint Trip Report

northwest ridge of Orno Peak (12,027 ft)

Awoke at 5:00 am, by 5:45 am we were hiking. The approximately 6-mile trip via the Mandall Basin took 2 hours and 45 minutes. There are lots of side spurs and areas of faint trail, especially in the upper drainage. The return trip took 2 hours 15 minutes. We returned to the trailhead at 10:45 am.
