Brevard County High Point Trip Report

At the Brevard County HP, they have bulldozed the trees and vegetation and created a sand pile roughly 15
feet high on top of the ridge. They have also begun to really eat away at the west side of the ridge.
It looks like they're planning to build something big on the lot next to the Amoco station. You can still see the
original "soil line" on the west side (exposed bank under the sand pile), but I don't know how much more
excavation they plan to do. If they do dig away the remaining ridge, the large oak tree on the southern edge
of the ridge will become the highest ground. In my opinion, the best access is now from the parking lot
across the street from the Econolodge. Photos are available.
