Lake County High Point Trip Report

Drove up Sugarloaf Mountain (mountain?!?) and walked around the flat area shown on the map to contain BM Howey. Hit all the slight rises we could find up there, but never found the BM. It looks as though this area is turning into a housing development, but the high point area is not yet built on or fenced. The other HP possibility in this county (unnamed) appears to be in a grazing area. We approached from the south, passing through a barbed-wire fence that did not appear to be posted.
