Orange County High Point Trip Report

I followed Fred Lobdell's directions, but found that the road he used for access off Marsh Road was
occupied with several trucks and buses, obviously an orange-harvesting operation in process.
Fred's interpretation that the road itself might not be posted may be correct, but with all the signs
at the bottom and people along the way, it seemed certain I'd be shooed away before reaching the goal.
I checked out the southeast approach, but it went through somebody's yard and permission to pass would
clearly be necessary.
Perhaps one could find a reasonable approach from the northwest or southwest, but perhaps it would be best
to avoid this one in harvesting season. Meanwhile houses are creeping up the hill (there is a fine view by
Central Florida standards) and one may find its way to the high point before long.
