Saint Lucie County High Point Trip Report

I only reconnoitered this one. There are three areas, on two topos, that qualify as HP candidates. To get into the area it would seem that the dirt roads shown on the topos would be the way to go. However, when I got to a paved cul-de-sac on the west county line, the road proved not to have been driven for a while; there were trees growing in it. It could probably be followed on foot, but it would have meant a 5 or 6 mile round trip on a warm day, part of it bushwhacking through miserable scrub, and I just wasn't up to it. Maybe some other time when I have someone along to share the misery.
