two small areas at and 400 feet southeast of Perkins LO Tower (510+ ft)

Driving directions: At the AL/GA State line on GA50/US82 in Georgetown, zero odometer.

0.0 -- State line, go east on US82.

11.7 -- Morris Road, turn right (south).
12.8 -- T at Upper Morris Road, turn right on dirt road.
14.5 -- Quitman/Randolph county line, turn right on dirt road.
15.5 -- Clay county line, go left.
17.7 -- Beauchamp Road, stay left on paved Garnersville Road.
17.9 -- Beauchamp Chapel on left, go straight.
18.2 -- T at Thornton Road, turn left.
18.6 -- Gated dirt road on left, park.

Hiking directions: I walked up the dirt road to the top in 0.13 mile. There's no Lookout Tower but there's a shed and a concrete slab. I found BM "Perkins 2" and its survey marker just west of the high point. The second (lower) point is along the ridge south of and paralleling the road. I dropped straight off the end to my car.
