This peak is in the Chattahoochee National Forest so access is not a problem.

From the US 411-Ga 52 intersection in Chatsworth Ga, travel 411 North until you reach Eton. Turn right at the red light in Eton onto the CCC Road. Once it enters the NS it becomes FS-18 stay on this road unitl you intersect FS-68. Travel on FS-68 until you reach the Tearbritches Trail Head. From the trail head to the top of the mountain is about 0.4 miles.

According to The Hiking Trails of North Georgia Bald Mountain is the western-most land mass over 4,000 feet in the Eastern US.
