From Interstate 35 at State Highway 9 (exit 203), zero odometer.
0.0 - I-35 and Highway 9 - Go west on Highway 9.
8.2 - Apple Avenue at the County line - turn left (south).
9.2 - Intersection with 340th Street - site of 4 Counties - go straight ahead (south).
10.1 - Road crests at driveway #24 221 - park.
With permission, hike 0.2 mile east for the two western points in the trees, passing a small tent city.
Then continue east another 0.2 mile to the last (eastern) point.
The points can also be reached from the Prairie Pothole Wildlife Area that you passed
on the way up Apple Avenue.
