Chickasaw County Highpoint Trip Report

two unnamed areas (1,320+ ft)

Chickasaw's two high point areas are near each other in Section 25 of Washington Township. I visited these areas shortly after sunset on March 20, 2005.

From Floyd County's Eastern High Point, I turned around from my parked position on Windfall, then turned left onto 110th St. I stayed on 110th St for 1 mile, then turned right onto Addison Ave. I followed Addison south for 1/2 mile, then turned left onto 115th St. I drove east on 115th for 3 miles and turned left onto Cheyanne (County Road T76). I drove north, then east on T76 for 8.5 miles, and turned right onto Kenwood (?). I drove south on that road for 0.7 mile and parked on the roadside near the western area. These two areas' contour lines look like near circles.

I arrived at the western area in 4 minutes, and the eastern area in 4 more minutes.

The total time out of my car was 18 minutes.
