Jackson County Highpoint Trip Report

From US 61 and Highway D55, zero odometer.
0.0 - Highway 61 and D55 - go north on Highway 61.
3.0 - Haxbylane Road - turn right (east).
4.6 - 230 Avenue - county line, name changes to Centerville Road.
Go straight ahead (east and northeast).
5.7 - Long driveway to the Maro family at 23406 and 23408 - turn left (northwest).
6.2 - Park at the farthest house.
Get permission and hike 0.2 mile more or less into the field to the high point. Quartering required.
This will get you the Southern area in Section 18.
Drive back to 230 Avenue at the County line and zero the odometer again.
0.0 - 230 Avenue - go right (north).
1.1 - Buncombe Road on the left - go straight ahead (north).
2.2 - 384th Street/Pity Road - go straight ahead (north).
2.3 - Farm # 38697 - park.
With permission, hike 0.7 mile east-northeast into a grove of trees and beyond
for the high point of the northern area in Section 6.
