Shelby County High Point Trip Report

From Defiance, Iowa, go two miles north on US 59 to a dirt road (F-16) and turn right (east). In one mile,
F-16 turns north, but another dirt road continues east (2400th Street). Continue east for another 3.5 miles
to a rise in the road with a radio tower on the south.
The two areas are on the north and south sides of the road.
The highest spot on the south appears to be very close to the edge of the road, just west of the tower,
but the pasture to the north appears to be a little higher than anything to the south.
Visit both and decide for yourself.
