Ada County High Point Trip Report

From Boise, head northerly on 8th St.
The pavement ends (as of 9/99) about 0.5 miles past Sandstone Rd.
(Ave? St? - sloppy note-taking).
From the end of the pavement, follow the dirt road (called, creatively, 8th Street Road)
7.3 miles to a junction. Go right on a poor (but drivable by a creative driver
in a street car) dirt road 1.3 miles. At this point, an old jeep road heads
downhill on your right; it is gated. Pull off the road and head briefly uphill
and left (SE) to the top of Ada county.
This one is a convenient quickie if you're stuck in Boise for a couple of hours with a car.
