Nez Perce County Highpoint Trip Report

The only snow bank left in the area blocked the access road to Craig Mountain where it leaves Zaza Road. Previous trip report directions are accurate. If you come to a large, in-use cabin beside Zaza Road, turn around and go back about half a mile to the corrals and broken down cabin. A large hunting party was camped at the corrals, preparing to head out on horses to look for bear or turkey.

I did the 4-mile, round-trip hike to the CoHP. The old jeep road that goes the last half mile to the summit has been blocked and signed for no motor vehicles.
