Hayden Peak on Cinnabar Mountain

Back on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day heavy rain and melting snow washed out
the Silver City Road in many places in a stretch from Mile 11 to Mile 16.
The road is open to high clearance vehicles but not recommended for ordinary
automobiles. One lane has been rough-graded through or around the washouts.
Reconstruction may be done by late summer if funding is established and a
contract is awarded soon enough.
