Adams County High Point Trip Report

Set in the gently rolling countryside of western IL, this single area is an obvious rise in a cornfield behind a barn and farmhouse. From I-72 take exit 31. Go north. Reach New Salem at mile 2.8 and Baylis at mile 6.9. The Pike cohp is here.

Go north through the heart of Baylis and after a mile stay left (west) on 2300N. In less than a mile, turn right (north). This road will veer left (west) onto N. 50th Avenue after a long mile. Go west 1.5 miles and turn right (north) on to E 2900 Street. A farm house is on your right and the HP is behind the barn.

This farmhouse is 4.9 miles from Baylis and 12 miles from exit 31 off I-72. If you're coming from the north, this farmhouse is 5 miles from IL105 and 29 miles from Meredosia, a river town with some pretty good eatin' spots.
