Union County High Point Trip Report

From the intersection of Indiana Routes 227 and 122 in the small settlement of Boston, drive south 2 miles to Five Corners and turn left (east) onto Mitchell Road. Proceed about 0.4 mile and find a place to park along the road.

Hike north 0.3 mile into the cornfield toward the high point (39° 42.984' N, 84° 50.628' W), which is an obvious rise which has an old windmill sitting below in on the west. My visit was complicated by the wet soil which had recently been plowed with manure added. I'm still trying to get the mud and clay off from my boots.
