Butler County Highpoint Trip Report

From Beaumont proceed 5.5 miles south to the hill crest with metal grain feeders on the right. Turn left onto ranch road following this for about 500 yards turning first to the right then dog-legging to the left. The knoll off to the left is the highpoint just in front of a grove of trees. The Topozone depiction faintly shows two small areas close by. However one, in reality, appears higher than the other. It may be possible a more defined map will show only one area here and there's another somewhere else that I missed.

While scouting the area a cowhand came by and suggested I visit the property owner, Mr. Pete Farrell. He has no problem with visitors but requests he be contacted first at 320-843-2726.
