There is really just one area to cover, a huge area over a mile long,
many times larger that the other 4 areas combined.
On US160, a mile plus west of the Cowley-Elk county line, drive north on road 333, which is signed
"Ferguson Ranch, 6 mi." Cross rail-road tracks, weave around a house, and finally turn sharp west on 72nd Street.
Stop at the first house on the right and meet the Burdettes. They are managers of the Ferguson Ranch,
on which the cohp is located.
Mrs. Burdette said the road on the topo that leads up to the hp area is not suitable for driving or walking.
She suggested several possible starting points from west of the hp area.
There is a lot of territory to cover in that big hp area. To me the hp very well could be at a dead tree north
of a corral in the southeastern part of section 28.
