Douglas County Highpoint Trip Report

one area on Globe quadrangle, NAD27 (38.7778° N, 95.4934° W)

This hp is just 0.3 mile south of US-56 just east of the Douglas/Osage county line. There is an old road leading to a small barn and silo less than 1/2 mile east of the county line. I pulled over at the road and proceeded as there were no postings. I followed the road south to the barn/silo and then proceeded southeast across a recently plowed field to the nondescript highpoint. I used my GPS to determine the center of the contour, walked around a little, and called it good.
