Gove County High Point Trip Report

There are two possible HP areas for Gove county. The man-made area is the east side of the south bridge abutment of I-70 over the railroad tracks 0.3 miles north of the exit to Oakley KS. Head westbound from that exit, pull off I-70 at that spot, before crossing the bridge over the railroad, and briefly get out of your car.

For the natural HP, from that same exit to Oakley head west towards Oakley. Turn left (south) on the first public improved road and watch your odometer. Pull off and hike the east side of the flattish road, and try to figure where the HP is.
