Labette County High Point Trip Report
Date: October 8, 2002
Author: Bob Martin
From the junction of US400 and US169 west of Parsons, drive north almost 3 miles to the Neosho-Labette county.
Drive east on the county line road. The land on the south side of this road, in Labette county,
is heavily posted. Permission should be requested.
The northwest area is about 2.3 miles east of US169, just south of the high point of the road. Though very
near the road, to reach it from this point involves going through thick brush and a barbed-wire fence.
The high point in a clearing just beyond is obvious.
The southeastern area can be reached from a gate about 0.2 mile farther east. From here you can walk south
past some feed bins, a railroad car, through another gate and bear southeast to the hp.
