Bell County High Point Trip Report
BM Chadwick and two unnamed areas (3,400+ ft)

Ken Oesers trip report mentions that these three points can be done as a single hike from the Chadwell Gap trailhead.
Unfortunately, this is no longer true. The trailhead has been closed. It is on private property,
and the owners have withdrawn their permission for the public to use this trailhead. We drove around to where it was,
and Mike walked up the private road far enough to see a half dozen or so dwellings, but anyone
wanting to use this approach will have to secure permission from one of the owners.
There is also an approach from the north side. According to the very helpful park ranger with whom we
spoke, it follows up Cubage Creek almost all the way to Hensley Flat. However, only the first mile is paved,
and after that a 4WD, high-clearance vehicle is required for the last 5 miles. Or you can hike it,
but obviously this adds 10 miles to your round trip hike. Speaking with the people at the visitor's center is
strongly recommended.
