Clark County High Point Trip Report

five areas 1/4 to 3/4 miles SE of Morris Road (1,120+ ft)

I had previously nabbed the easternmost 2 areas, being easily accessible. They're located within 100 yards of
some traffic control towers (one is in a cattle field).
The other 3 are also located in Cattle fields (1 of which had cattle in at the time). I came in from the north
on an abandoned railroad grade. I came across a 16-year-old fishing in a pond. He says his granny owns the land.
He knew just where the one highpoint was with the BM Franklin and took me up to it. There was
even an old metal sign warning not to tamper with the survey marker. Do beware of the cattle if you
attempt these. The kid said most of them aren't any trouble, but there's one bull that's protective of the herd.
