At the junction of KY 224 and KY 479, West of Royal, zero odometer.

0.0 KY 224 and KY 479 - Go south on KY 479.
3.4 Pleasant Valley Road - Turn right.
4.2 Wheeler Road - Turn left.
4.5 Dirt track - Long driveway to the left -Go straight on the dirt track.
5.1 Gate - Park.

The road is posted. I stopped at a blue trailer on the way up and got permission to continue to the gate. From the gate I walked up the road for about 0.16 mile to where my GPS unit said was the top of area #1 (Buzzard Ridge, just off the road). I roamed around a little to be sure. I saw and flushed a few wild turkeys on the way up. I then bushwhacked about 0.3 mile northeast along a ridge to Buzzard Roost, the #2 area. This also required a bit of roaming.
