Jefferson County High Point Trip Report
South Park Hills

Tried the eastern approach first. Within half an hour of picking up the rental car at the
Louisville airport, I had it stuck in Kentucky mud while trying to turn around.
A local farmer pulled us out with his tractor.
Note: KY mud worse than in Northwest! Determined that easiest approach is to run the ridge
from the north. Did this. The benchmark has been eliminated by clay pit mining, and the
highpoint is no longer at that spot. I think it's the next bump north, now, but we hit 'em
all to make sure we could count it.
