From State Highway 58 and 80 at the Western Marshall county line, zero odometer.

0.0 Highway 58 and 80 - Signed 58 only. Go east.

2.1 Road splits.

Highway 58 goes left and Highway 80 goes right and changes to Highway 402. Keep right and go through the town of Brewer.

5.6 CR 2606, Jackson School Road on the left. Oak Grove Church Road, Highway 299 on the right (not Staples Road). Turn right.

6.5 House with a lot of bird houses. Park.

Get permission to hike 0.3 mile west to area #1. Continue 0.35 mile to area #2 and return to your vehicle.
Turn around and go back out on Highway 299 to Highway 402.

7.4 Highway 402 - Turn right (east).
9.9 Slickback Road - Turn left (north) but this doesn't show on DeLorme.

12.4 Covington Road, CR 1256 - Turn right - This is Prince Staple Road on the topo map.

13.2 The road turns left.
13.5 Old Lookout Tower is on the left. Park.

Hike 0.3 mile west to area #3. Continue west-northwest 0.16 mile to area #4.
