Brunswick COHP NC. Andy Martin 8/21/2022 I did find 2 areas that semed the highest, They are at 23.5m -78.07901W 34.27245N and then just SE of here. However this area has been developed, with a lake and homes. The old quad shows a swamp and depression here, and my hunch is that the quad is right. When we drop down to the next contour (about 22.1 to 22.3 meters) we started to see many, many areas. While counting these I noticed another area: 24.73m 81 feet at -78.09285 34.21426 This is one contour higher than the 2 areas mentioned above, not in a depression on the old quad, and does not show signs of disturbance going back to 1985 on Google Earth. Tom Layton has a good write up of this area here. https://www.peakbagger.com/climber/ascent.aspx?aid=592701 He reports it is densely vegetated, and no obvious hill was found.
