Area Location: Johnson Road, 2.5 miles East of Willamsburg
Maps: Federalsburg Quad DeLorme 43
Route: From Federalsburg Travel west along route 318 (Preston - Federalsburg Road)
The area is very spread out and the "HighPoint" is somewhere in the fields amongst
the barn structures spread out over at least an area 1/2 mile square.
A winter trip might show the local high point better.

Historical Notes: The exact date of establishment of Dorchester County is unknown,
but records indicate there was a county government in 1668. Dorchester is named for
the Earl of Dorchester (or Dorset), a family friend of the Calverts.
Description of HighPoint: This "area" HighPoint is somewhere in a very large space.
A winter trip will probably unearth the highest "point".
*1More research is needed due to an inability to find "one unnamed area 3500' east of
Hynson at a elevation of 60+ feet" on the Federalsburg Quad map.
