I nearly drove by the TH on 219, but at the last minute, I saw "MD HP" spray
painted on the back of a sign and found a pullout. The first 3/4 of the hike is
on a woods rood, which could be driven quite easily in a stock 4x4 if one wished
to do so.
The hike is quite easy and I needed to stretch my legs, so I hoofed to the top
and back in 45 minutes at an easy pace. The summit is quite nice and has a
register and a picnic table as previous reports have mentioned.
This also happened to be my 14th state HP.
