Rain gone and a beautiful sunny day. We had made previous arrangements with Ellen Britsch for permission to access the top of Quirauk Mountain in Maryland and it went off beautifully. Absolutely no trouble whatsoever and the guys at the checkpoint knew we were coming. No car being checked or rifles aimed our way. Another guy there out for a jog led us to the top, which took us a total of 10 minutes to reach.
