Penobscot County Highpoint Trip Report
East Turner Mtn
Date: September 19, 2005

Good News: The Rocky Pond Road now is extended well past East Turner Mountain.
From Katadin Brook bridge go north 2.3 miles where a rough logging road heads
west toward East Turner. After 0.6 mile is a loading area for logging trucks.
Park and hike west up drag logging lanes that are tough hiking, which soon peter
out and then the bushwhack starts. On the way up I slipped on a moss covered rock.
I fell and fortunately I wasn't hurt but I broke my watch and I don't
have any times to report on this, my final cohp in Maine.
