Note: This report is all along the Interstate 75 corridor and mileages start from the Interstate median.

Driving directions

From I-75, exit 290 at County Route C-48, zero odometer.

0.0 I-75 at C-48 - go north on C-48.
0.6 Macgregor Road (Note: route to Charlevoix County turns here) - go straight (north).
2.5 C-48 turns west - go straight ahead (north) on US-27N.
3.6 Cheboygan/Otsego county line - continue straight.
4.7 Sunshine Trail - dirt - turn left (west).
5.0 Power lines - park.

Walk west 0.2 mile up track to the top. Roam around a bit especially to the south and southwest.
