Genesee County Highpoint Trip Report

If you do Livingston, you might as well do Genesee.

I parked pretty much on the county line between the two points. I felt the area to the northwest was probably higher but looked to be manmade from the construction of the houses noted. The southeast area had some good sized trees and is, in my opinion, the true HP.

If you are coming at this one from the north, the street you want is State (which becomes Hartland at the county line). To get back to US 23, stay north on State, bear left onto Adelaide, and turn left at the light at Silver Lake Road for maybe a mile.

Unfortunately, I was pressed for time and did not make the pilgrimage to properly honor one of our senior (and most respected) members. By that I mean that I did not get to put my foot into Lake Lobdell. Where were my priorities?
