Leelanau County Highpoint Trip Report

This was an easy one.
From US-31 at MI-72 in Traverse City, zero your odometer.
0.0 US-31 at MI-72 - Go west on MI-72.
0.5 MI-72 at MI-22 - Turn left (west) on MI-72.
3.7 Harrys Road - Turn right (north).
4.1 Bear left 90 degrees.
4.9 South Gallager Road - Turn left (south).
5.1 End of road - Park.
With permission, hike 0.2 mile east to the obvious high point.
I was accompanied by a large, friendly, blond dog. This point is just a couple of
miles north of the Grand Traverse County high point. Wish I had known that back
in 2004 when I was there.
