one area with Maple Hill BM (1,000+ ft)

Approach from the northwest: From the center of Trout Lake, go southeast one mile on MI 123. Go left (east) on CR H40 for 9.3 miles and turn left (south) onto FS-3119/East Lake Road, a good quality gravel road. Go south 2.4 miles to the rough dirt road FS-3119K and hike to the summit, which takes about ten minutes.

If coming from the northeast, it is 13.2 miles from CR H63 in Rudyard (1.5 miles west of I-75) via CR H40 to the H40/FS-3119 junction.

two areas one mile north of Cedar Lake (1,000+ ft)

For the southern areas, I went south on Fish Road from the north county line. Note that contrary to Delorme, the road north of the county line is named Steinbech Road. Fish Road is in decent shape for one mile south of the county line, where county maintenance ends and the road gets rougher. I drove very carefully another 1/2 mile south, at which point I was 1.25 miles distant from the highpoints. There I retreated, as time was getting short. It's possible that a sedan could make the rest of trip south to the trailhead at the cabled track road mentioned by Bill Schuler.
