five areas - one with BM Crystal (1,083+ ft)

From the intersection of US-31 and Business 31 (Monroe Road), zero odometer.

0.0 US-31 at Monroe Road - Go east on Monroe Road.
7.0 Junction at 126th Avenue - Continue straight ahead (east) on the dirt road.
9.0 144th Avenue - "T" intersection. Turn right (south) on paved road.
9.6 Top of the road - track on the left (east) - Pull in and park.

Hike in past the first line of trees, then turn left (north) up an open area to the communications tower at area #1 with BM Crystal in 0.1 mile. Return to your vehicle. Cross the road and walk north a short distance to a track going west to another communications ower. Hike past it and up to the wide ridge. Turn south up the ridge through the woods. The remaining points are south-southeast along the crescent shaped ridge. The last one is east of area #4 and you can continue east a short (albeit steep) distance back to 144th Avenue turning left (north) to get back to your vehicle. The round trip for the four areas is about 1/2 mile.
